It now seems that a new partnership has just recently been formed between Tourism Australia and Malaysia Airlines. The two are planning an upcoming “Only in Oz Holiday” campaign. This new campaign will see the promotion of Malaysia Airlines’ special fares to Australia. It will also advertise exclusive land packages and bonus offers that include a range of “Only in Oz Holiday” experiences.

These great packages have been put together for tourists in collaboration with a variety of Australian state tourism groups. This includes Aussie Specialist travel agents. This new program will be launched at the upcoming MATTA Fair 2010.

This campaign pretty much has a certain goal in mind. This is the goal of strengthening Australia’s appeal against other destinations. The campaign will target both first time travelers to Australia and those who are experienced travelers.

Maggie White, the Regional General Manger for South and South East Asia and Gulf Countries at Tourism Australia, said that they believe that unique Australian experiences will give Australia the edge it needs to bring in more tourists from all over. This collaboration with Malaysia Airlines, as well as other state counterparts and Aussie Specialist travel agents, is a prime example of how Tourism Australia tires to get the travel industry working together to deliver the best travel choices for consumers.

Azman Ahmad, The Malaysia Airlines Assistant General Manager of Sales, said that Malaysia Airlines is delighted to be working with Tourism Australia. This “Only in Oz Holiday” campaign will offer more direct flights right into Australia, thus, giving customers more travel options overall.
