One of the most well known budget carriers in Australia, Tiger Airways, has just recently announced the launch of a one day sale. According to reports, this sale will have 10,000 domestic airfares for $15 or more as it gears up to commence its flights to Brisbane.

The sale will apply on many domestic routes which includes, but is not limited to: Melbourne to Hobart, Sydney or Adelaide, as well as from the Gold Coast and Adelaide to Sydney. It applies to many other popular routes as well. The Tiger Airways Australia Consumer Communications Manager, Vanessa Regan, said that, as well as the 10,000 seats for just $15, Tiger Airways is also selling many other routes for as little as $25 across the rest of the network.

The Tiger Airways sale applies to mid week travel – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – with departures from April 13^th to June 10^th. There is a $6 convenience fee for credit card purchases. Tiger will commence flights to Brisbane from Melborne, Adelaide and Rochampton on March 28^th.

Overall, these great fares offer fliers a chance to get out of town for cheap. This is Tiger Airways’ way of getting travelers moving again and showing people that travel can be both fun and cheap. The way that people use to travel, paying for expensive seats and so on, is over.

Jetstar also has a little offering of its own. This airline is offering sales on fares from Melbourne to the Gold Coast for just $59. They are also offering flights from Adelaide to Sydney for just $69 and Brisbane to Newcastle for $39.
