Tiger Airways Adds More Services from Avalon Airport in Melbourne

According to these reports, these new services will be available as of November.
The managing director at Tiger Airways, Crawford Rix, said that he was very excited about this news. In fact, this great news comes just after the recent announcement that the low cost carrier will also be adding flights to the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.
He went on to say that, through Tiger Airways innovative Low Fare Revolution, the company is able to offer low fares. They are committed to providing the lowest airfares for domestic travel right around Australia. The new base in Avalon has seven new routes and the airline is thrilled with the outstanding customer response to the routes. More and more Australians are choosing to fly with Tiger Airways every day. Tiger Airways has expanded its capacity on the Avalon to Gold Coast route.
In relation Tiger Airways news, a 43-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaking into the Tiger Airways terminal at the Gold Coast. Federal Police said that the man accessed the terminal in the early hours of the morning and caused damage to a number of glass panels, walls, and other equipment.
They went on to say that the man has been charged with one count of entering or being in premises. He is also being charged with committing indictable offense contrary to section 421.1 of Queensland Criminal Code Act 1899.
