It now appears that the UK is currently launching new measures to restrict the number of overseas workers that get to live and work within its boarders. This includes restricting the number of people that go to the UK from Australia.

It was just recently reported that an increasing number of Australian workers are actually leaving Australia to emigrate towards the UK to search for new work. The irony here is that many Brits are leaving the UK to go to Australia. In fact, Australia is the number one country of choice for most Brits which are migrating abroad.

Many agencies were catering for the rise in numbers of Australian workers heading to Britain. In fact, many agencies even advertised in Australian newspapers and on Australian websites to reach a number of people that were very likely to head to the UK.

However, now that the UK is facing a peak in unemployment this year, restrictions are being placed on the number of people that are allowed to get visas and work the UK. Since the UK cannot restrict emigrants from the European Union, these cuts have to come from other countries, like the United States and Australia.

The Director of the Royal Commonwealth Society recently said that there will be young Australians who will listen to these kinds of news stories. He could take his skills anywhere in the world, and they are looking for a bit of adventure; however, they are now hearing a lot of bad things about the UK. So where are they going to go; more than likely Canada or the United States.
