Darwin Wants to be UFO Hotspot for Tourists

Posted on: September 3rd, 2010 by Paul Scott

Although a lot of people do not know it, UFO sightings are a big tourist attraction for many countries. Well it now seems that Darwin wants to be the next place to cash in on this form of tourism. This call comes after there was a recent UFO sighting in Territory’s skies.

Peter Davies, who is a radio personality, said it was time to challenge Rosewell and Wycliffe Well. Now Australia plans to make Darwin the UFO capital of the world. He said that they got the Convention Center here in Darwin, thus, why not use it for a conference for UFO spotters. People all over the world are interested, and obviously they travel a fair bit to see a UFO. Thus, people from all over the world could be invited right to Darwin.

Davies said that UFO spotting could be the new tourist attraction for Darwin. He said that they could offer free parking for people visiting the area in spaceships.

Not too long ago, Erik Black, a UFO spotter, said that he spotted an ominous hamburger shaped light in the sky. This sighting apparently was the highlight of Mr Black’s 30-year search for UFO’s. He said that he is already looking into booking flights back to Darwin to try his luck at seeing another one.

Mr Black went on to say that Humpty Doo was the place where he saw his first UFO after so many years of searching. He said, of course, he will go back there. It’s all happening right there, and people do not want to miss it. Anyone who is anyone will be visiting Darwin soon.
