Just recently a traveler was arrested after he took off his clothes in a very desperate bid to avoid being frisked by airport staff. Sam Wolanyk was planning on flying to Barbados but declined to go through the full body scanner. Just like everyone else, his refusal to go through the machine means that he was singled out for a pat down search instead. However, he allegedly decided to strip down to his underwear instead.

Sam said that it was obvious that his underwear left nothing to the imagination. He did this because he was not willing to be molested again by the security staff. He said that he figured that this way everyone would be happy. By taking off his clothes he was hoping that he would not get scanned or groped by security staff. On to other hand, they would still be able to do their job and verify that he is not a danger to anyone. In fact, this method was even quicker than what it takes to do a pat down.

However, everything did not work out the way that Sam wanted it to. A supervisor was called to the scene and asked Mr Wolanyk to put his clothes back on so that he could be properly patted down. It was around this time that Mr Wolanyk was handcuffed and escorted from the terminal. This incident has been confirmed by local police.

Another woman was also arrested just recently for allegedly illegally filming the x-ray and screening process with a camera. Apparently these are things that the airport security staff are not prepared to tolerate.
