Flights that are heading over to Australia are at an all time low. This information comes from a report that was released by DialAFlight. The prices on tickets to Perth have actually fallen from 810 pounds to 399 in just a six month time span.

Of course, to get people to fly to Australia, more incentives are being given to prospective travelers. For example, US airline Delta is actually offering unlimited free alcohol drinks on all flights to Australia. This is for all ticket classes, and this comes on top of the already low ticket prices.

Qantas has already been offering free alcohol drinks to its customers for a long time now though. This happened after they started their $3.8 million tourism drive to try to get people back to Australia. The Qantas executive vice president, Wally Mariani, said that if their competitors are doing something on that route, Qantas is not afraid to match them.

Of course, other companies in Australia are doing what they can to get people to travel there as well. Companies that have hotels in Australia, like Hilton, are offering two for one deals on rooms for anyone that wants to stay in one of their Australian hotels. This is a great deal for guests, and it’s better for Hilton to have someone staying in their hotel, even if it’s at a discounted price.

However, some of the agents for DialAFlight say that they have started to see an upsurge in bookings in the past few weeks. This is most likely because the recession is starting to finally draw towards a close.
