The low price carrier Tiger Airways has just announced that it will have a wide range of price cuts on tickets. Some of these price cuts are said to make tickets cost less than a carton of beer. All of this is being done by Tiger Airways to help keep the discount assault going on its rivals Jetstar, Virgin Blue, and Qantas.

Some of these special price cuts will allow travelers to be able to fly around Australia at rock bottom prices. This includes many flights from Sydney to Melbourne for just $25.51. Other price cuts include tickets from Adelaide to Perth for $22.78 and tickets to Melbourne from Gold Coast for just $25.51. All of the prices include taxes as well.

The deals that are being offered by Tiger Airways are some of the lowest in all of Australia. During the same time, other tickets offered by other airlines could cost more than double the price. Tickets from Adelaide to Perth through Qantas start at $129, and Jetstar offers these flights for around $79.

The Commercial director of Tiger Airways, Steven Burns, said that the price for a couple of movies or a few cans of beer could by tickets on some very popular routes. These are prices that Steven Burns believes that everyone can afford. He also said that everyone is tightening their belts. It must be nice to know that these people can still afford to take short breaks and get away from their work life, he added.

However, travelers should be aware that the prices are only good for one-way flights, and the fares only include 7 kg carry on luggage. Passengers will be charged for all other luggage.
