Michael Jackson Death Brings Up Questions
Posted on: June 29th, 2009 by Tanya PropstIn a big shock, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, passed away at the age of 50 from a heart attack. Michael Jackson was still alive when he reached the hospital but died soon after. Since Michael Jackson’s personal doctor was on scene during the heart attack, he is being questioned by the Los Angeles police department.
The official autopsy for the King of Pop was done Friday. However, the Jackson family is already looking for a second autopsy to be done. A lot of questions were raised with the death of Mr Jackson, including his relationship with prescription medications. Dr Conrad Murray, who is Mr Jackson’s personal physician, was with the singer when he started suffering from the heart attack
Before going in for questioning to the Los Angeles Police department, the doctor hired a law firm. The law firm that Dr Conrad hired, Stradley, Chernoff, & Alford, said that Murray is not being questioned as a suspect but as a witness to the event. They went on to say that they were hired by Dr Murray to help guide him through the investigation process. They also noted that they were there to make sure that the police investigation was done properly.
Many media reports have come out saying that Michael had been injected with a narcotic painkiller, Demerol, just before his heart attack started. When the paramedics arrived to Jackson’s house his doctor was trying to revive Michael.
The official autopsy report could not find what caused Jackson’s heart attack, but a toxicology test is still out and will not return for another six weeks. Many feel this will answer many questions.
